TruPeptidos, a company domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia (hereinafter "TruPeptides," "the Company," or "we"), in its capacity as Data Controller, adopts this Personal Data Processing Policy in compliance with Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data, Colombia's data protection law), Regulatory Decree 1377 of 2013, and the other applicable rules that govern this fundamental right in Colombia. By browsing www.trupeptidos.com, placing an order, or providing us your data through any channel, you acknowledge that you have read and accept this policy.
01 Data controller
The party responsible for collecting, storing, using, and otherwise processing your personal data is:
Any question, complaint, or request related to the processing of your personal data should be sent to WhatsApp, the channel the Company has designated for handling data subject requests.
02 Definitions
For the purposes of this policy, and in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012, the following terms mean:
Authorization: the data subject's prior, express, and informed consent to the processing of their personal data.
Database: an organized set of personal data that undergoes processing.
Personal data: any information linked to, or that can be associated with, one or more identified or identifiable natural persons.
Sensitive data: data that affects the data subject's privacy or whose misuse could lead to discrimination, such as health status. TruPeptides does not request sensitive data to operate its store.
Data processor: a person or entity that processes personal data on behalf of the controller (for example, payment gateways or couriers).
Data controller: the person or entity that makes the decisions about the database and the processing of the information—in this case, TruPeptidos
Data subject: the natural person whose personal data is processed.
Processing: any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion.
03 Personal data we collect
TruPeptides collects only the data needed to operate its research-grade peptide store, process orders, and communicate with its customers. Depending on the stage of the relationship, we may collect:

First and last name, national ID number (when required for invoicing), email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
Shipping data
Delivery address, city, department, and any special instructions for cold-chain delivery.
Order & billing data
Products purchased, order history, and the billing details required by Colombian regulations.
Payment data
Transaction confirmation. Payment is processed directly on the secure CoinGate gateway; TruPeptidos does not receive or store your financial data or wallet keys.
Browsing data
IP address, device and browser type, and usage data collected through cookies (see section 8).
Communications
The content of the messages you send us by form, email, or WhatsApp, and your subscription preference for communications.
We do not collect sensitive personal data or information about health conditions. TruPeptides sells research-grade compounds and does not request medical records or diagnoses.
04 Purposes of processing
The personal data we collect is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and is used exclusively for the following purposes:
Managing the registration, receipt, confirmation, and dispatch of orders placed on the site.
Coordinating delivery with couriers and maintaining the cold chain to the customer's door anywhere in Colombia.
Processing payments through authorized gateways and payment methods, and issuing the invoices required by law.
Handling questions, requests, complaints, and petitions through our contact channels.
Sending order status updates, batch-level Certificates of Analysis (COA), and service notifications.
Sending commercial, educational, and promotional communications, only when the data subject has authorized them, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
Meeting legal, accounting, and tax obligations, and responding to requests from competent authorities.
Improving the security, performance, and experience of the website through anonymized statistical analysis.
TruPeptides will not use your data for purposes other than those described here without obtaining a new authorization from you.
05 Data subject authorization
Processing your personal data requires your prior, express, and informed authorization. That authorization is understood to be granted when you voluntarily take any of the following actions:
Filling out and submitting the site's contact form.
Placing an order and providing your contact and shipping details through the site or WhatsApp.
Checking the box to accept this policy where it is offered during checkout or registration.
Authorization may be recorded in any medium that allows later reference (an electronic record, a WhatsApp message, or an email). You have the right to review the authorization you have granted at any time and to revoke it following the procedure in section 7. Providing your data is free and voluntary; however, certain data is essential to process and ship an order, so declining to provide it may prevent us from delivering the service.
06 Your rights as a data subject
As the subject of your personal data, Law 1581 of 2012 grants you the following rights, all of which you can exercise with TruPeptides free of charge:
Know
Access the personal data we hold about you, free of charge, along with information about how it is processed.
Update
Keep your data current and request that it be brought up to date when it changes.
Correct
Have data that is partial, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading corrected.
Delete
Request the deletion of your data when no legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
Revoke
Withdraw the authorization you granted whenever you choose, unless a legal or contractual duty prevents it.
File complaints
Take your case to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of data protection law.
You also have the right to request proof of the authorization you granted, to be informed about how your data has been used, and to access it free of charge at least once per calendar month.
07 How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of the rights above, the data subject, their successors, or their representatives must submit a request to WhatsApp, clearly stating the right they wish to exercise and attaching information that verifies their identity.
Inquiries
Inquiries about the data held in our databases will be answered within a maximum of ten (10) business days from receipt. When an inquiry cannot be answered within that period, we will inform the requester of the reason for the delay and the date of the response, which will not exceed five (5) business days after the original deadline.
Complaints
Complaints—for example, to correct, update, or delete data, or when a suspected violation of the law is identified—will be resolved within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days counted from the day after receipt. If a complaint is incomplete, we will ask the requester to complete it within the following five (5) days; if two (2) months pass without a response, the complaint will be deemed withdrawn. If the fifteen-day deadline cannot be met, we will inform the requester of the reason and the new date, which will not exceed eight (8) additional business days.
Filing and processing these requests is free of charge. If you believe TruPeptides did not handle your request properly, you may file a complaint with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), Colombia's data protection authority.
08 Cookies & tracking technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. TruPeptides uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to improve your browsing experience.
Technical / necessary cookies: enable the site's basic functions, such as remembering the products you add to your shopping cart (stored locally in your browser).
Preference cookies: remember the choices you make to personalize your experience.
Analytics cookies: help us understand, in aggregate and anonymously, how the site is used so we can improve it.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Keep in mind that disabling technical cookies may affect features such as the shopping cart. TruPeptides' cart relies on your browser's local storage (localStorage), and that information is not sent to our servers unless you complete an order.
09 Information security
TruPeptides takes reasonable technical, human, and administrative measures to protect personal data against tampering, loss, or unauthorized or fraudulent access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encrypting communications over HTTPS, restricting access to our databases, and working with payment gateways that meet industry security standards.
Sensitive payment data is processed directly on the CoinGate gateway and is not stored by TruPeptidos. Even so, no system is completely impenetrable; you also contribute to security by safeguarding your credentials and never sharing confidential information through unofficial channels.
10 Data transfers & disclosure
TruPeptides may share personal data with data processors strictly necessary to deliver the service, such as couriers (to deliver orders), payment gateways (to process transactions), and hosting or email technology providers. These third parties may process the data only under our instructions and for the authorized purposes, and they are required to keep the information confidential and secure.
TruPeptides does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We will disclose it to competent authorities only when a legal obligation or a court order requires us to do so.
11 Minors' data
TruPeptides products are research grade, and their sale is restricted exclusively to adults 18 and over. Accordingly, this site is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have received a minor's data without proper authorization, we will delete it.
12 Effective date & updates
This Personal Data Processing Policy takes effect on July 5, 2026, and will remain in force for as long as TruPeptides carries out its corporate purpose. The databases managed by the Company will be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing and any applicable legal obligations.
TruPeptides may amend this policy at any time to reflect regulatory, case-law, or business changes. Any substantial update will be published on this page with its effective date. We recommend reviewing this document periodically; continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the policy then in force.
